Heart Transplant- Bob Ward's Story

24 year old Bob Ward was diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Wolff Parkinson White syndrome that caused his heart to beat irregularly, leading to thickening in his left ventricle. As an avid sports player, Bob worried that he would never be able to live a normal life. Now, thanks to a transplant from the heart transplant hospital and South Carolina heart center of MUSC, he is healthy and grateful for a second chance.
