The Tundra is in bloom. The beginning of summer. A warm June morning. A light breeze. Many birds are starting to hatch. Snowy Owls have a quiet period now. There are four eggs in the owl's nest. In one egg the chick is already hatching. A colony of waterfowl has formed around the nest of snowy owls. Common Eiders and Snow Geese are nesting under the protection of Snowy Owls. A female snowy owl sits on the nest and observes life in the tundra. We hear her comments. Sounds of Snow geese and Common eider can also be heard.
