How To Make A Mississippi Pot Roast

I'm visiting our state neighbors today and making MISSISSIPPI POT ROAST!

Ingredients

2-3 pound chuck roast
3 tablespoons butter
8 ounces peperoncini peppers and juice
1 package of ranch dressing seasoning
1 can beef consomme
2 tablespoons flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
For Insta-Pot

Season roast with salt and pepper and dredge in flour.

Set Insta-Pot on sauté mode on medium heat. Melt butter and sear roast on all sides until nicely browned.

Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Set Insta-Pot on slow cooker mode for 6-8 hours.

This can also be cooked in a crockpot using the same method.
