All these hand exercises are really simple and require minimal equipment, to help your child get a hand muscles workout at home or in the classroom.
What is a fine motor warm up? Fine motor warm ups work by waking up the smaller muscles of the hands and preparing them for activity. Doing some simple exercises, while sitting comfortably at a desk or anywhere comfortable, can help prepare your child to engage in a tactile activity requiring smaller, more precise movements - like handwriting.
