اتارا رب نے" اِسی میں قرآن
In it the Lord revealed the Quran
جو اس کو ضائع "کرے ھے نادان
Those who waste it are in loss
بس اِس کی دل سے" کرو قدر
Value this night with your heart

شب ِ قدر  " شبِ قدر

یہ طاق راتوں "کی روشنی ھے
It is the light of the night of meditation
یہ قلبِ مومن "کی تازگی ھے
It freshens up the heart of the faithful
توں اِس میں رب کو" تلاش کر
Search for your Lord in it

شب ِ قدر  " شبِ قدر
The Night of Power, The Night of Power
مٹیں گے تیرے" گناہ سارے  
Your sins will be wiped clean
اگرچہ انکے"  نہ ھوں کنارے
Be they ever so limitless
توں اِس میں توبہ" خدا سے کر
Ask your Lord for forgiveness

شب ِ قدر "  شبِ قدر
The Night of Power, The Night of Power
جہاں کا اِک  " بد نصیب ھے وہ
He is truly unfortunate in this world
جو فضلِ رب کو" نہ پا سکا ھو  
Who failed to win his Lord’s favour
یہ رب سے قربت " کا اک  ھے گوہر
It is a pearl that brings you closer to the Lord

شب ِ قدر  " شبِ قدر
The Night of Power, The Night of Power
ملائکہ سب" اتر رہے ھیں
All the angels are descending
وہ رحمتیں  ساتھ" لا رہے ھیں
Carrying blessings with them
روح الامین بھی" آئے  اتر
Look, the Faithful Spirit also descends

شب ِ قدر   شبِ قدر
The Night of Power, The Night of Power
طلوع فجر تک " یہ رہتی ھے
It stays till the time of Fajr
سلامتی ھی "سلامتی ھے
There is peace, there is peace
خدا سے مانگو"  تم رات بھر
Ask your Lord throughout the night

شب ِ قدر   شبِ قدر

مصطفی کو " نصیب کرنا
May Mustafa (poet) be blessed
رات  اس میں   " قیام کرنا
To pray in this night
پائے گا   وہ بھی  "عالی اجر
May he also attain high rewards
