Arranque Estrella Triangulo con Inversion de Giro/ Star-Delta Start with Reversal of Rotation

With this system it is possible to lower the intensity that would be produced in a direct start to one third. Star delta starting consists of starting the motor by connecting its windings in star. These are supplied with a voltage equal to the network voltage divided by 3, that is, 58% of the nominal voltage. The torque is reduced in relation to the square of the supply voltage and is equal to one third of the torque provided by a direct starter motor. The current in the line is reduced in the same proportion. In the second stage, the star coupling is suppressed and the delta windings are coupled.
