Building Las Vegas’ $80 MILLION Formula One Track

Have you wondered what it takes to prepare for Formula One cars racing on public streets? Wonder no more!

After F1 announced the first Las Vegas Grand Prix, construction crews sprang into action to rebuild the world-famous Las Vegas Strip.

The project required months of work and a reported $80MM. Paving crews from Las Vegas Paving and other contractors worked day and night to rebuild the entire road's cross-section.

This video covers the racing surface specifically—it's the most essential part of the track. Everything must be PERFECT, or else the race could end in disaster.
