Ingredients
For marinating beef
Beef/mutton/gosh/beef-1.5kg
Ginger garlic paste/adrak lehsan ka paste-125grams
Whisked curd/feti hui dahi-125grams
Red chilli powder/Lal mirch powder-2tbsp
Star Anise/badiyan ka fool-1
Cloves/laung-7-8
Green cardamom/choti ilachi-5-6
Bayleaf/tezpatta-3-4
Oil-1/4cup
Garam masala-1/2tsp
Salt/namak-as per taste (1tbsp)
Green chillies/Hari mirche-2tbsp
Coriander leaves/dhaniya patte
Mint leaves/Pudina patte
Kewra water-1tbsp
Lemon juice (half lemon)/Aadhe neembu ka ras
For rice
Basmati rice/basmati chawal-1kg
Water/pani-4 litre
Bayleaf/tezpatta-3-4
Star anise/badiyan ka fool-2
Cinnamon stick/dalchini-1inch piece
Cloves/laung-4-5
Cumin/zeera-1tbsp
Lemon slices/ Barik Kate hue neebu k slice -4
Mint leaf/ Pudina patte
Salt /namak
Oil -1tbsp
For making gosht/meat gravy
Oil/tel-1cup
Finely chopped Onion /Barik jati hui pyaz-4medium size (use half for making gravy and remaining will be used while layering Biryani)
Biryani masala -1tbsp
Water /pani-1/2cup
For Layering ingredients required
Half cooked rice / aadhe pale hue chawal
Kashmiri dry apricots/khubani-6(optional)
Chopped green chillies/jati hui mirche
Coriander leaves/dhaniya patti
Crispy fried onion
Gosht gravy
Milk/doosh-1/4cup
Desi ghee- 3tbsp
Kewra water and food colour
