The delectable combination of blend
The delectable combination of blend modes, effects, and the vector tile style editor in ArcGIS Online enables a shocking amount of cartographic license. Right in the browser.
I'll take a very plain and modern and basic (but lovely) set of basemap layers and turn them into something that plausibly looks like it was printed in the 18th century.
