In this episode, my son and I continue our multi-day wilderness canoe adventure through the rugged and pristine country of the Wabakimi Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada.
We paddle across the scenic Whiteclay Lake, navigate the winding Armstrong River, and arrive at Pickett Lake, where we stay at the remote fly-in only Ogoki Frontier Pickett Lake Lodge before setting up another wilderness camp. Along the way, we battle intense weather conditions, including thunderstorms and lightning, while fishing for walleye and pike, with a special walleye fish fry over the campfire. Watch as we take shelter under tarps during storm after storm, showcasing the challenges and beauty of this remote Canadian wilderness.
