Steps for installing AVEVA Plant
Steps for installing AVEVA Plant SCADA and the latest update:
1. Go to https://softwaresupport.aveva.com/ and create an account. Then login
2. Open Product Hub section and search AVEVA Plant SCADA. Click on the corresponding download link for the latest AVEVA Plant SCADA update and start the download. Also, download the software itself by searching under "Previous Versions". We recommend the ISO
3. After the download, right-click on the installer, go to Properties and click Unblock
4. Mount the ISO or unzip the archive that contains the application. Find the Launch Application and Run it as administrator
5. Read the Install Guide
6. Install all the prerequisites
7. Read and accept the license agreements
8. Choose the role for your computer
9. Choose your components
10. Install the product(s)
11. Choose the drivers you need
12. Restart your machine
13. Follow the steps shown in the video at 08:30 to configure the application
14. Mount the ISO or unzip the archive that contains the update. Find the setup.exe and Run it as administrator
15. See the running services and stop them. Important: If you are in production, and you have a project running, you have to make sure that everything stopped
16. Install the update
