In this video I have explained how to apply for the USMLE and ECFMG identification number. This is really important and it should be completed before 2024 by all the IMGs currently aspiring to work in the U.S.. The news broke out quite some time ago that the WFME is changing the criteria for recognition of universities and from 2024 many unviersities will lose their accreditation. This is just the first step you have to do in order to register for the USMLE. After this you will receive an e-mail with your number and a password to access your ECFMG account. There you will submitt the form 186 and complete the verification via NotaryCam.
