🟢 Summary: Directed by horror icon Wes Craven (Last House on the Left, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream), 'Summer of Fear' is a 1978 made-for-TV film featuring Linda Blair (The Exorcist). She plays Rachel Bryant, a young girl who lives with her affluent family on a secluded (ish) farm. After a terrible car crash kills her aunt and uncle, Rachel's cousin Julia comes to live on the farm. Not long after, strange stuff starts to happen. First, Rachel finds a human tooth (a really big one) and hunks of crispy dog hair! Things quickly escalate to catfights, psychotic horses, exploding doors, and a car chase to the death.
If you like campy old-school horror, this one's for you.
