To understand the stories of the esteemed mythological heroes, we need to take in account their lives and times. This talk by Sushri Neena Rai about the wonderous Ayodhya, that has been the centre of the Ramayan, is an attempt to elucidate the same.
Sung by Luv and Kush, composed by the Sage Valmiki - 'Ramayan' has captured the imagination of people across the world since ages. No one grows up in India untouched by the beautiful love story of Ram and Sita. Every Dushera we celebrate the victory of Ram over Ravan, victory of good over evil. Every Deepavali, one hears about the welcome of Ram and Sita back to Ayodhya, but amongst all the celebrations one hardly pays attention to the fascinating city of Ayodhya.
About the Speaker:
Sushri Neena Rai is a student of Sanskrit with a keen interest in Dharmic Scriptures and a devotee of Sri Ram and Sita. After having stayed overseas for more than a decade, she decided to move back to Bharat in order to contribute to the country and its people. She is an alumna of of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. When she is not working for her business, she is busy reading, writing and often painting.
