When the pile installation has satisfied the specification requirements, the concrete of the head of the pile shall be cut off to the level specified.
Care shall be taken to avoid shattering or otherwise damaging the rest of the pile. Any cracked or defective concrete shall be cut away and the pile repaired to provide a full and sound section to be cut-off level.
