I BOUGHT LAND FOR MY OFF GRID DREAM: HERE’S HOW

I bought our 4.5 acre plot of land at the age of 22: In this video I explain how. When I bought this land it was an empty field. Now, 17 years on and 3.5K trees later, it is a growing woodland. I live here completely off grid with my wife Rachael and our two children, Grace and Albie. We use solar panels to generate electricity and collect and filter rainwater. We grow an increasing amount of our own food (something that we are working hard to build on at the moment) and would one day like to build a house here.
