Darius Khondji is one of
Darius Khondji is one of the most esteemed cinematographers working today, and the way that he shot Se7en was groundbreaking. His use of darkness and subtle colour has cemented the look of Se7en into one of the most exceptionally looking films of the past 30 years.
In today's video, I look at how Khondji and Fincher use framing to their advantage, how Khondji uses light and colour, as well as the equipment he used to achieve the compelling look.
