NEW BUGATTI TOURBILLON

This is the name that will be whispered in the automotive world for the next 8 years, meaning the fastest hypercar in the world with an atmospheric engine. You heard right, all the speculations about the wonderful naturally aspirated V16 with a volume of 8.3 liters were confirmed. Of course, Bugatti did not create it itself; for this, the company turned to the British from Cosworth for help, they have a long track record in this area and something, but they ate the dog on large naturally-aspirated engines. The gasoline engine produces 1000 hp. and 900 Nm and is capable of spinning up to 9000 rpm. Just think about it, a big, naturally aspirated V16 and so high-revving. The secret lies in the short stroke of the motor and it is indeed very compact, weighing only 251 kg. The camber angle of the cylinder blocks is 90 degrees. But the gasoline engine is just the tip of the iceberg. Tourbillon is the first ever hybrid Bugatti, the merger with Rimac clearly reflected the company's decision to use three synchronous electric motors with permanent magnets. Two of them are located on the front axle and produce a total of 680 hp. and almost 3000 Nm of torque, if you measure the wheels. Another motor is located on the rear axle, its power is 340 horsepower and 240 Nm. moment. In total, all three engines, taking into account losses, produce 800 hp. and all three engines are capable of spinning up to 24,000 rpm.
