Learn what pitfalls to avoid when starting your nonprofit. It's one thing to have a great idea for charitable organization, but to launch it is a whole different story. There are typical mistakes I see new nonprofit founders and boards make that really slow their success.
That doesn't mean you won't ever be successful, it just means it'll take longer to get there. So instead of heading down the wrong path, learn first what to avoid so you can bypass some of those headaches.
The main mistakes really focus on the mindset and the intentions of the founder. Once you're clear on what the true purpose of a nonprofit organization is and you move your ambitions and ego to the side, you'll be in a better place.
