I discovered my old Nokia
I discovered my old Nokia C2-01 handset - charged it up and had an evening of playing some of the games still on it. Surprisingly fun although sometimes hard to play through the camera viewfinder as I had to try to play by feel where the buttons are.
This is a quick off-screen video of City Bloxx (believe originally called Tower Bloxx by Digital Chocolate and then ported as City Bloxx to Nokia platforms by Xgen Studios. This is the Quick mode which involves timing the release of Blocks from a swinging crane. Get the timing wrong and the block falls, get it right and you build your Tower up. time it perfectly so the block aligns with the one below it and you unlock the combo multiplier. The game mode proper has more elements to it - let me know if you want to see that.
I try to keep the phone still and apologies that my thumb sometimes comes into shot.
