Radio telescopes are phenomenal tools for exploring how the world looks in frequencies far to low for any camera to see. In a previous video we built a telescope capable of seeing 12ghz radiation and used it to take a picture of geosynchronous satellite orbiting the earth. This inspired another idea. What if instead of Ku band (that 12ghz signal) we looked at wifi signal instead. Further, the same system could be used to track satellites as they orbit and pull high quality data from them. While at the time of upload the device isn't fully functional, it is built and we've managed to make it move. In the next video we'll finish the control system and begin taking images and looking for satellites.
