How To Make PERFECT Yorkshire Puddings Every Time! #Shorts

Yorkshire Puddings are arguably one of the best bits of a Sunday roast (along with roast potatoes!) and no Sunday roast is complete without these delights! Light and crispy on the outside and soft and delicious in the middle, Yorkshire Puddings taste fantastic by themselves, but better still when smothered in a rich, warm gravy!

Yorkshire Puddings are so easy to make, but getting a good rise can be tricky. This #shorts video shows you how to make the perfect Yorkshire Pudding every time! However, as #shorts videos are a bit short(!), I've listed the recipe, method and a few tips below to help you on your way!

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 230C | 450F (If you have a fan oven: 210C | 410F)
2. Add a pinch of salt to the flour
3. Beat eggs and add to the flour mix
4. Slowly add milk to the mix in increments
5. Heat lard (or vegetable shortening) in a Yorkshire Pudding/muffin tins until smoking hot!!
6. Pour batter into the tins - Do not open oven once batter is baking!!
7. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown
8. Serve and enjoy!!!

Tips:

-Ideally, use lard/vegetable shortening as the fat (beef drippings work too!)
-Your pan needs to be smoking hot to ensure a good rise!
-Don't open oven while baking! If you do, the Yorkshire Puddings will drop!!
