The final race of my 2021 season (I've not uploaded any other races this year), I had 5 podiums from 5 races going into the final round, I was hoping to finish the season on a high on the iconic Brands Hatch Indy circuit.
MSV Trackday Trophy is a great series with a friendly atmosphere around the paddock and good clean racing on track.
The race start didn't go very well, with 4 cars making contact. Luckily I wan't involved and it was good to hear all the drivers walked away.
The restart wasn't my best and I dropped down the grid, but I fought back to finish the first stint P1 in class and P5 overall.
The car is 1999 Toyota Celica, built and maintained by Se7en Motorsports. Sponsors Quaife Engineering have provided me with a 6 speed full sequential gearbox and ATB differential - it makes a huge difference to pace and how fun the car is to drive.
