This man was the king of football Edson Arantes do Nascimento known to the world as Pele. Pele was virtually an unknown 17 years old when he arrived in Sweden with the Brazilian team for the 1958 World Cup Finals but he was soon to make his mark his first World Cup goal came against Wales it was clearly an emotional moment for the whole team.
Pelé, Brazilian footballer speaks about his first goal. He says, "Its little bit difficult to explain it's a different emotion something that comes from inside to be able to play for your country at 17 and particularly to score a goal is very special that goal against Wales was the goal that won the match one and nil and enabled Brazil to reach the semi-finals it's impossible to explain how I felt, I remember that after the match I couldn't rest I didn't sleep whole night I was full of happiness."
Pele carried forward his great performance and scored a hat-trick against France and to win the final. Pele Was part of that golden team from Brazil whose intoxicating brand of Football brought them three world championships.
