Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT): U.S. Energy Markets

Iberdrola Renewables has been a part of ERCOT since 2009, building and operating 523 megawatts of wind power at three facilities -- enough to power more than 134,000 homes. ERCOT manages the flow of electric power to 23 million Texas customers, representing 85 percent of the state's electric load. It is the first independent system operator (ISO) in the United States.
