in this video we look
in this video we look at a basin on the Dudley n2 canal in the black country where coal mines once operated in the 1800s with evidence of the loading wharf still there in this video I attempt to magnet fish the basin to try and find evidence of a old industrialised past . The coal mines on the canal side are eagle colliery and also where the incline went up from the basin to yew tree colliery in Rowley Regis .
