Kumeleh is a city and capital of Kumeleh District, in Langarud County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,703, in 1,636 families.
شهر کومله مرکز بخش کومله در شهرستان لنگرود در استان گیلان ایران است. بر اساس سرشماری سال 2006، جمعیت آن 5703 نفر در 1636 خانوار بوده است.

Gilan weekly bazaars are the most stable type of periodic bazaars that can be seen in Iran.
These bazaars are part of an old tradition. It is so old that in 1698 the Père de la Maze refers to the "Tuesday of the famous Kasker Bazaar" (the later ruined Khanate of Kasker) which brings the "amazing crowd" to a hundred shops around an inn next to the Khan's residence overlooking The adjacent bank of the river attracts.
