People processing:
You are performing your services one people. To be more specific, on peoples body. Doctors are providing services that are going to fall into this category. There might be something wrong in your body, and a doctor is going to fixt it. Make up artists, hairstylists are also performing a service on your body.
Ride sharing services can also fall into this category as they are transporting you from one place to another.
In this category, the customer has to be present when the service is being performed. Well of course they have to, the service production and he consumption is simultaneous. And the customers also have to cooperate with the service provider in this case.
And, since the customers will be present while the service is being performed, the service environment has to be up to the mark, since that is going to add to the overall satisfaction of the customers.
Mental stimulus processing:
The name is pretty self-explanatory. You see, you are providing the service one the customers, but the service is processed for their minds. In a way, you can say that I am providing a service to you, that is, you are watching this video and understanding what the four broad categories of services are.
Newspapers and news media is also another type of service where they are providing news that is going to help you in one way or another.
So this type of services has the power to shape your behaviors and attitudes in different ways.

There are tangible actions that are happening to something you own. Any sort of repairing and maintenance is going to fall under this category. You might need to repair something in your car, maybe repairing your phone screen. Laundromats also fall under this category as they are taking care of your possessions.
In this case, you don’t really need to be present when the service is being performed. But, you can be present if you want to.
Information processing:
The intangible services being performed on your goods. Banking systems. When you are sitting at home receiving money to your bank account and then spending it on something else, nothing tangible is being processed, but you are still earning and spending your own money, and your bank is going to take care of your money that way.
Any type of legal services that your lawyer is going to perform is information processing.
