Your Home Yeast Lab Made Easy - Freezing & Refrigerating Yeast

In this video I go over two ways to store yeast - refrigeration and freezing. Both procedures start with the collection of a yeast cake, with refrigeration allowing for storage of the cake for ~3 months and freezing allowing for 2-3 years of storage. Update: I now have a blog post outlining how the yeast was used in this video, straight from a jar in the fridge, from a starter made from refrigerated yeast, and from a frozen vial.
