This Promo was made for broadcast in England announcing that The Avengers are going from Black & White to Color......The Avengers Started To Air In The USA on ABC with the Color Diana Rigg Episodes....After the show was cancelled WWOR-TV Channel 9 in NY presented the Black & White Diana Rigg Episodes for the first time in the U.S.A.
Years later A&E would start running The Avengers
from the beginning Steed and Cathy Gale, Emma Peel,
and Tara King...I remember seeing The Avengers "FORGET ME KNOT" on ABC and couldn't believe that was Diana Rigg's final episode...but years later
I saw her in 007 "ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE"
the LAURELTON THEATER had to turn up the volume because we screamed seeing "Tracey" started fighting
and then James Bond Married Tracey aka Mrs. Peel
Dame Diana is still a tuff lady
