Scraps On Point Progress Video 15 Minutes to Quilt Part 2

The 15 Minutes to  Quilt challenge is back by popular demand. You can sew along with me while I work on this pink, purple and green scrap quilt. It is a simple quilt made with two inch squares leftover from my other quilt projects, the Pink Explosion quilt and the Green and Purple Pinwheel quilt.

The challenge will have a couple of twists. I will be publishing one video a week as I work on this same project. You can see the quilt evolve as I make decisions on this quilt. It is a great scrap buster and very versatile in that you can make it as big or as small as you like.

It is a great quilt to make for a beginner quilter and the on-point setting makes it look harder than it is.

For part two, I design the layout for the quilt, press fabrics, cut up more scraps to make this quilt bigger, and then I start chain sewing the dark and light fabrics together. It makes a satisfying long chain of fabrics.
