If you have a roofing project, you will want to consider buying hook blades. I decided to purchase the Milwaukee 48-22-1932 Hook Blades. I put them to the test on a small project of 5@ 3-in-1Owens Corning Classic Shingles. The hook blade did a great job trimming the shingles about 3/8" past the drip edge.
I discovered these blades several years ago while talking to a garage builder. He said he always uses these when trimming shingles. I decided to give them a try and have used them ever since.
