आलू टमाटर का झोल | Aloo Tamatar Jhol - Potato Peas Curry - Matar Batata Bhaji - Easy And Quick Recipes
Aloo Tamatar ka Jhol is a traditional Uttaranchal dish. This dish is very simple & easy to make.Try this delicious recipe.
Ingredients :
● Tamator : 1 piece
● Boiled potatoes: 2 pieces
● Cumin seeds (jeera) : 1 t-spoon
● Green chilly: 1 piece
● Asafoetida (Hing) - 1/2th t-spoon
● Coriander powder : ½ t-spoon
● Red chilli powder: ½ t-spoon
●Turmeric : ½ t-spoon
● Dried mango powder (amchur) : ½ t-spoon
● Mix spices (garam masala) : ½ t-spoon
● Coriander leaves : a few
● Oil: 3 t-spoon
● Water: ½ litter
● Salt to taste
Procedure:
Step 1: Firstly, cut two boiled potatoes and one tomato into medium sized pieces and chop one green chili and some coriander leaves.
Step 2: Now fry Cumin seeds and Asafoetida (Hing) in a pan filled with 2-3 spoons of oil.
Step 3: Now add chopped chilies and tomatoes and fry the entire mixture. Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chili powder.
Step 4: Fry this mixture for 5 to 6 minutes on medium heat.
Step 5: Now add cut boiled potatoes, some salt as per taste, some garam masala and fry it for 5 minutes.
Step 6: Pour half liter water and cook the entire mixture for 5 to 7 minutes until the water boils along with some dried mango powder.
Garnish with some chopped green coriander leaves. Mouth watering aloo tamatar jhol is ready to be served hot!
