The Pine Creek Gorge aka The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania offers amazing views of the 1,000ft canyon, whitewater rapids, and incredible hikes on the Rim Trails.  Our journey started at Colton Point State Park where we camped before putting in at Ansonia, PA.  We enjoyed the Colton Point Overlook, the Rim Trail and Turkey Run Trail.  We then paddled 13 miles through the Pine Creek Gorge and the Owassee Rapid before setting up camp near Pine Creek Island. We enjoyed a hike up to the top of the gorge and the many waterfalls of Pine Island Run. On the final day we paddled 5 miles to our takeout at Blackwell, PA.
