Ingredients

Red beans/Van payar 1 cup
Raw banana 1
Grated coconut 1/2 cup
Tumeric powder 3/4 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Garlic 1 clove
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Whole chillies 4
Curry leaves few
Salt to taste
Coconut oil 1 tbsp

Soak Van payar for 2 hours.
Cook Vanpayar in a pressure cooker for 3 whistle
Add chopped raw banana  ,tumeric powder & salt cook for 5 minutes.
Grind coconut,garlic ,cumin seeds ,whole chillies & curry leaves to a coarse mixture.
In an earthen pot add oil, mustard seeds,curry leaves & whole chillies.
when it starts spultter add coarse mixture ,salt & mix well.
Add cooked Payar & Kaya mix well
Cook covered for 2 minutes.

Yummy Thoran is ready to serve.
