Two wonderful vintage cornets are compared here; Conn's "The Concert Grand" from 1948 (corrections below) and King's Master Cornet from 1946. Both have the same micro-tuner and a similar wrap, but there are some differences. Hope you enjoy this vid; it's more info and less playing than usual. They do sound very similar. Enjoy! Jonathan
Correction: the Conn 36A does NOT have 3 tuning slides - it has 3 water keys (spit valves to most of us). Sorry; must have been thinking ahead. :)
