#Woodworking is a messy game and so far my dust control for the Sawstop CTS table saw has been to point it out the garage door and let the wind do the rest. I actually bought a dedicated dust collector for the CTS at the same time it was gifted to me by my friends at @CarbatecTheHomeOfWoodworking … but it has taken me 12 months to get around to setting it up ;) I’ve bought a 1hp Cartridge Filter with 4” (100mm) ducting. We’ll do a quick unboxing, setup and installation.

(Very) Similar dust extractor models are available worldwide, and this video will give an idea of how easy they are to set up, what their suction capabilities are, and how they can help you take control of dust in your tiny workshop. I’ll compare the standard bag to the pleated filter and look at both the floor and wall-mounted options as well as some ducting and blast gates. Join me for a dust-busting good time!
