Toyota 1ZZ 1.8L Valve Cover Gasket

In this video I show you how I replaced the valve cover gasket on my daughter's 2004 Toyota Matrix with the famously reliable 1.8 Liter Toyota 1ZZ engine. This engine was used in many vehicles, such as the Matrix and Corolla, Pontiac Vibe, and others. The valve cover gasket after 220,000 miles on this car was brittle and old and prone to letting oil leak out in little bits. Replacing it on these engines is very easy and not time consuming at all. I go thru the whole process almost in real time, except for the parts where I spent a little time just doing a little cleaning on things. Hopefully, you can get some use from this video, and the confidence to tackle the job yourself.
