This video explains how VDS and AIT is deducted from the supplier or procurement provider. There are many viewers who wanted to know about how to deduct VDS and TDS on supplier. Procurement providers are those who supply goods or services through work order, tender, quotations etc. Procurement Providers do not have any manufacturing unit, no shop, no showroom or even no service. They just obtain work order from the buyer and delivers goods. In such case 7.5% VDS to be deducted and TDS to be deducted either 2% to 5% based on the base value. Withholding tax, VDS, TDS, are used interchangeably for procurement providers, suppliers etc.
