In May 2019, we made this wonderful trip to Portugal and Northern Spain. This video recalls the first part of the trip: A sketch of Portugal.
During the trip, it is enlightening to realize the indelible footprints that the Portuguese left during the Age of Discovery. Also, the huge cultural and geographical diversity with its complex history made the journey full of surprises and excitements. One week's visit is barely enough to touch the surface of Portugal's multifaceted characters, which are like a beautiful mosaic of hand painted tiles, individually unique, and collectively harmonious.
