Hello and welcome back to the channel. Today we are very excited to show you a dish which is extremely critical for some of the signature Bengali dishes. Standalone Bengali Bodi / Vadi / Wadi doesn't do much, but the moment a fried Bodi/Vadi is added to Sukto or Macher Jhol, it creates a Magic.

While there are many combination of making the Bengali Bodi/Vadi, it esentially depends on the dish on which it would be used. Exception is the small Bhaaja Bodi, which can be consumed just after frying. Would encourage you to try this simple recipe - feel free to add your magic twist by adding Kalo jeere or Mouri or make it out of Masoor Dal or Cholar Dal - options are many.
