Had a great day out Helifishing at Great Barrier....
Departed Auckland and headed over to Great Barrier Island for some Heli-fishing with prize winners from the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show. Incredible day with great views from one end of the Hauraki Gulf to the other.
We were pulling in snapper through out the day and I scored a nice kingfish on a stickbait. Amazing rock fishing country over there. Used the drone to capture some nice aerial footage.

Had an invite to go fishing with Peter Reynolds, a rock fishing legend from the North Shore. We headed North to chase some snapper from the shore during an evening fish. Saw a kingfish smash a baitfish hard up against the rocks close by, would have gone 30-40lb.
