A murder investigation has been launched after human remains wrapped in plastic were found at a nature reserve in Salford, Greater Manchester.
Police were called to Kersal Dale just before 6pm on Thursday (April 4).
An ‘an unknown item wrapped in plastic’ had been found by a member of the public.
A pathologist has now confirmed this to be human remains and a murder investigation is underway.
