Shishito Peppers are a simple side dish to prepare that packs a ton of flavor and will impress your guests. Tom Colicchio showed us how he makes this dish in his home for the holidays.

We recommend serving Shishito Peppers along with our American Wagyu Picanha roast but it would pair with different roasts and steaks just as well.

What You Need
• 8 ounces shishito peppers
• 1 small red onion, sliced
• 1 tablespoon neutral oil
• 2 cloves minced garlic
• 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
• 1 handful fresh basil leaves
• Kosher salt
• Fresh black pepper

How to Make It
1. In a large bowl, toss the peppers with the oil.
2. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium high heat.
3. Add the peppers and onions and cook until they’re tender and beginning to brown, 7 to 9 minutes. Add the garlic and continue cook for 1 minute until garlic is fragrant.
3. Remove from heat and toss peppers with vinegar and basil leaves. S
4. Season with salt & pepper. Serve immediately.
