Ford subwoofer amplifier thump fixed

This video shows how I fixed the subwoofer thump or pop that happened every time I started the Explorer SporTrac. This fix specifically applies to  Fords with an aftermarket head unit that retained the stock Ford amp. The stock amp requires a 5v remote but aftermarket head units are 12v. If you have a similar issue in your Ford, I hope this video helps you out. If you've never worked on a car stereo before, get a friend or family member to help you out. Good luck.
