Teen Shoots Step Dad Cuz He Asked Him To Do The Dishes 😳

A teen has been arrested following a shooting on Melrose Street on April 30.

On Monday, May 1, the Shreveport Police Department announced the arrest of Shamikel Jones. The 18-year-old allegedly shot his stepfather in the leg with a shotgun after the victim reportedly asked Jones to help wash dishes. Jones is charged with second-degree aggravated battery.

Police said the victim is expected to recover.
