Our hypothetical homegirl may be struggling on the uneven bars but she's unknowingly performing the WORLD'S MOST DIFFICULT BAR ROUTINE — so give her some credit! My intention is NOT to make fun of individual gymnasts (OK fine... just Nastia lmao). Instead, let us all remember how difficult gymnastics is, how incredible it is to see gymnasts think on their feet and readjust and accomplish incredible saves, and most crucially, how often commentators and we as viewers (*cough* gymternet *cough*) seem to forget that.
