Hello dear viewers. Today I will show you how to grow basil at home. For this, I use dishes from a plastic bottle. I took a simple one from the garden. I type it into this container. I have my own seeds. Of course they are a little old, so I’ll plant a little thicker. Sprinkle with not a thick layer of soil. Tamp lightly. And moisturize with water. To maintain a moist balance, it is necessary to cover with a film or bag. And put on the windowsill on the sunny side.
Literally 2 days have passed, we open the greenhouse and see the shoots. It turned out that in vain did not trust the seeds and planted densely, almost all came up. But this is nothing, excess will be removed with further care.
A week has passed and we see how our basil is developing. For such dishes, it grows too densely. We'll have to remove the excess. Our soil level is low, it is specially left. Now a little loosening and pouring soil instead of earthing up. There is enough moisture, but we spray a little anyway. And we put it again on the windowsill.
Another 10 days passed and here is the result. Such a basil can already be used. To do this, we take scissors and cut the tops, leaving at least 2 leaves on the stems. From which new branches will grow in the future. Well, for one serving of salad we already have basil.
And this is a further result, after trimming the tops. On each, 2 new branches grew, which can also be cut and used, leaving another 1-2 leaves. And so for 4-5 months we are provided with fresh basil.
