One of these three solutions
One of these three solutions will get your Google Play Store working again.
1-Enable/Activate "downloads" and/or "download manager"
With a Galaxy S or Note phone go to Settings/Application Manager/Keep scrolling left passing the titles "downloads" "running" then stay on "All" and then scroll down and click on "downloads" with the green android guy next to it. Then Enable it.
All other Android devices/phones:
Click on Settings/Apps/All Apps-now look for and click on "Download manager" and enable it.
2- Clear cache and data
.Go to Settings/application manager/find "google play store" and clear the cache and data
3. Reset App Preferences
Go to settings/application manager/ then click on menu button (on the left of your home/middle button) then click " Reset app preferences.
And now your Google Play Store should be in working order.
