Yamaha DSP-A1 changing battery (super cap) - soldering needed

I had trouble finding the battery, so showing it here and how I swapped it out. Its not a bad job once you've done it once.

The battery is infact a 5.5V .47F supercapacitor.

My amp is around 25 years old. I also needed to re-solder the back of the LED (actually a vacuum tube) display as those joints had heat stress cracked, presumably from the screen heating up and cooling down.

I cant do anything but keep repairing it when I compare its value to the new offerings - and what the A1's go for on 2nd hand markets. Lets keep them going! If you have an fixes, stick your videos on Youtube to help other people too!
